Job Phone : Interactive Career Information System

Description:

The Job Phone is a modified payphone that lets users explore different careers. By dialing a number, they can hear short explanations about specific jobs.

After listening, users can ask their own questions through the handset, and the system responds with spoken answers.

The system is designed to be used in public spaces like schools, events, or exhibitions, making career information more accessible and interactive.

Technical Implementation:

At the heat of the project is a original American payphone that has been modified to house a raspberry pi.

The inputs and headset of the payphone are connected to the raspberry where costume code takes care of giving the correct answers using a voice recognition algorithm and pre recorded answers.
